Shipping & Delivery Policy
Order processing
Once you confirm a rug, please allow 1–3 business days for it to be inspected a final time, rolled and prepared for transport at our workshop in Marrakech. One-of-a-kind vintage and Tuareg pieces are reserved the moment your order is confirmed, so there is no risk of it selling to someone else while it is being packed.
Where we deliver
We ship worldwide from Marrakech using trusted international couriers. Most orders to Europe, North America, the Gulf and Australia arrive within 7–10 business days of dispatch; a handful of remote destinations can take a little longer, which we will always flag before you commit to an order.
Customs & duties
For the great majority of destinations, import duties and taxes are included in the price you are quoted, so there is nothing further to pay on arrival. On rare occasions a local customs authority may still apply a charge outside our control; if that is ever a risk for your country, we will tell you in advance rather than let it come as a surprise.
Tracking your order
As soon as your rug leaves Marrakech you will receive a tracking number by email, along with the courier's name and an estimated delivery window. Someone from our team is always reachable by WhatsApp or email if you would like an update in the meantime.
Packaging & care in transit
Every rug is rolled, never folded, and wrapped in protective, water-resistant packaging designed to prevent creasing or damage. Wherever a shipment includes more than one rug for the same client, we consolidate them into a single parcel to reduce packaging waste and cost.
Signature & delivery
A signature is required on delivery for all shipments, both to confirm safe receipt and to protect the insurance covering your rug in transit. If no one is available, the courier will normally leave a card with instructions to rearrange or collect locally.
Sustainability & fair trade
Every rug ships directly from Marrakech, supporting the artisans and workshops behind it rather than a middleman. We favour reusable and recyclable packaging materials wherever we can, and consolidate multi-rug orders into a single parcel to keep both cost and waste down.
If something arrives damaged
This is rare, given how carefully every rug is packed, but if a parcel does arrive visibly damaged, please photograph the packaging before opening it and contact us within 48 hours of delivery. As every shipment is fully insured, we will arrange a replacement, repair or full refund at no cost to you.
Returns and this policy
Full details of our 14-day return policy are covered in our Terms & Conditions. In short: if a rug does not suit your space once it is home, let us know within 14 days of delivery. The rug must be unused and in its original packaging, and return shipping is the buyer's responsibility.
Local pickup
If you are in Marrakech, you are always welcome to collect your rug in person from the showroom at Dar el Bacha or the archive in Sidi Ghanem — see our Visit Us page for opening hours and directions.
